Mikrobiom
Wir beschäftigen uns mit methodischen Fragestellungen im Kontext hoch-dimensionaler Daten aus Mikrobiomstudien. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Analyse von komplexen Datenstrukturen wie z.B. geclusterten Daten aus longitudinalen Studien oder Meta-Analysen im Zusammenhang mit gepoolten Analysen auf der Ebene individueller Patientendaten. Innerhalb der NAKO Gesundheitsstudie untersuchen wir das nasale Mikrobiom und den mikrobiellen Organ-Cross-Talk zwischen dem menschlichen Darm, der Mundhöhle und den oberen Atemwegen.
