"I aim to answer clinical research questions by identifying and using the best available methods and study designs. By applying modern statistical concepts in medical prediction problems, I want to improve individual patient outcomes. My research focuses on methods to evaluate diagnostic test accuracy and the role of the human microbiota for health and disease."
