PhD student
Working Groups: Observational Study Platform
and Epidemiological Methods

"My research in cancer epidemiology has so far focused on evaluating breast cancer mortality in the German mammography screening programme using modern methods of causal inference. Due to the limited information on potential confounders in observational studies, my focus has been on the further development and application of indirect methods for correcting confounding. The objective was to generate reliable evidence that can be used to inform decisions regarding the implementation and further development of this early detection screening programme."
