"I am the team lead of the central biobank at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Münster (ZBB-MFM). In this role, I am responsible for the organizational and operational coordination of the biobank, as well as for ensuring high quality standards in the collection, processing, and storage of biological samples. The goal is to create a reliable foundation for scientific and medical research.
In addition, I am a doctoral candidate, and my research focuses on the storage stability of biomarkers in liquids as well as PBMCs (peripheral blood mononuclear cells). In this context, I investigate how storage conditions and storage duration affect the quality and informative value of biomarkers. This research question is particularly relevant for ensuring the long-term comparability and validity of biomedical research results."
